UPDATE: Crunchwrap Supreme has been found!

Crunchwrap Supreme, one of our RAL foster dogs, is missing from his foster home in Midlothian. He was last seen about an hour ago in the woods near Old Gun Rd & Arsenal Dr.

He's a friendly tricolor dog (white, brown, and black), about 20 lbs, wearing a yellow martingale collar with a RAL tag, plus a Seresto collar. He is on medication for seizures and recently finished heartworm treatment, so getting him back safely and quickly matters a lot.

If you see him, please call or text 804-372-3152 right away.

Think the RALendar Contest is just for dogs and cats? Think again. 🐔

This fabulous chicken is proof that any pet can enter the RALendar Contest!

Over the years, we've welcomed horses, birds, lizards, rabbits, chickens, and more. If your pet is part of your family, they're welcome to compete for a spot in the 2027 RALendar.

The contest runs through September 26, and every $1 donated = 1 vote for your pet. The Top 12 vote-getters will earn a spot in next year's calendar and will be announced live at Woofstock on September 26!

Every entry and every vote helps provide care for the pets at Richmond Animal League while giving your favorite companion a chance to become a calendar star.

From chickens to Chihuahuas, horses to hamsters, every pet has a chance to be a RALendar star! ✨

Richmond Animal League's Courtesy Listings feature pets who are being rehomed directly by their current families through Home To Home. Because these pets remain in their homes while searching for their next family, it's a great way to connect with animals who may never set paw inside a shelter.

And it's not just dogs and cats!

From rabbits to reptiles and other pets that can be legally owned in Virginia, our Courtesy Listings are open to all kinds of companions. You never know who you might meet.

Home To Home also offers an option for families facing a temporary hardship. If someone needs short-term care for their pet but plans to welcome them back home, they can connect with people willing to provide temporary foster care until they're back on their feet.

Guppy just got a fresh set, and babes, they are giving.

The caps aren't just for looks. Guppy's got a little healing to do, and this keeps him from scratching anything he shouldn't while he gets better. He was a champ for it too, mostly just wanted chin scratches the whole time.

He's not ready for adoption just yet, he's still got some healing ahead of him, but he's got a whole team behind him and a very good set of toe beans to show for it. If you'd like to help cover care like this, you can give at ral.org/donate

The Calendar Contest is back and we're on the hunt for the cutest, fluffiest, most charismatic pets in Richmond to star in our 2027 calendar.

This isn't just a contest, it is a fundraiser that helps RAL provide lifesaving care for pets in need.

So, how does this work? It's as easy as 1...2...3...Cheese!

1. Visit ral.org/calendar and register your pet with a photo
2. Share your unique link with friends and family
3. Every $1 donated is a vote for your pet
