There will be a raucous atmosphere,
One or two wobbly moments,
And even interpretive pine cone dancing.
But one thing’s certain:
The Great Barkalot Jamboree is bringing the house down.
This final week of Camp Barkalot, our scouts take to the stage to show off to their friends everything they’ve learned across the summer:
🎤 Scent sleuths tracking clues across the stage
🥁 Percussion solos on upturned water bowls
🍌 A dramatic pupcake bake-off (and clean-up)
🎭 Senior dogs looking wise
Each dog earning its own standing ovation (from both humans and hounds), with a final badge presentation by firelight.
Every pup will walk away with their Survivor Badge — the mark of a dog who’s braved the wild, baked the treats, earned the scroll, and left the forest a little braver than they entered.
The curtain’s come down on Camp Barkalot.
But the stories they made this summer?
They’ll echo through the trees for a long time to come.
