We want to say a huge thank you to the firefighters that helped us keep our home and puppies safe!
We have always prepared for the possibility of a fire and on Sunday 8/9 all the preparations paid off. At 5:30pm the bug fire arrived in our valley. We had decided not to evacuate due to the fragile state of some of our puppies and expectant mothers. We put all the dogs into air conditioned buildings far from the perimeter to ride out the fire. We spent over 3 hours with hoses in hand soaking fence lines and buildings. Thankfully not even a fence post was lost. We have been so overwhelmed & blessed by the outpouring of love & prayers from our Nevada Labradors family. Thank you to all of you that have reached out and offered help; we are so grateful to have such amazing people in our lives.

We are all safe! The fire got a bit close but thanks to God & the firefighters for protecting us. We are so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from our Nevada Labradors family. We are thankful & blessed to have such amazing people in our lives.
