Meet Greta, the shy shepherd 🫣🤎

Greta is a 2 year old female Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray.

She was found running amok with another dog, Elise, and both were extremely malnourished and thin when brought into our care. This nervous girl had no idea how to walk on a leash and showed a very short attention span. Greta is a sweet and anxious girl who needs someone to love her enough to let her figure out how to be a dog. We'll give you a little secret - a tiny spray of canned cheese can get her to focus on learning! It's her favorite!

Greta seemed okay with cats at first, but due to her anxious nature in the shelter, became unsure after a bit. We would like to retest her with cats once she is a bit more comfortable. If there is a dog in the home, a dog intro is required.

Meet Molly, a short queen!! 👑👑

Molly is a 10 year old female Pointer mix who was transferred to us from another facility.

She came to us with her bother Diesel and she is the more confident of the two! They can both be a bit standoffish at first, as they had a bit of a rough start in life. This older gal just needs a good home to give her the space she needs to thrive and be loved.

While Molly and Diesel have lived together for a long time, they do not seem to be bonded and may be adopted separately. They are both very polite with cats, and may be able to go home with other dogs. If there is a dog in the home, a dog intro is required.

💭Griptape is currently in a foster home. Please contact us to schedule an appointment ahead of time.

Griptape is a 3 year old female domestic shorthair who came to us as a stray.

↪ From the foster: "She is still slightly skittish around loud activity but nowhere near as when she first came here. Like she might run away when spooked but will come right back. She likes to lounge and loves neck rubs. She likes to watch out of the window. She's not a lap cat but she likes to be near. She still runs from the brush though. She is not messing around with it, lol."

🚨Attention Barking Lot Party Attendees!🚨

We’re expecting a large number of community members to join us tomorrow for our 2nd Annual Barking Lot Party! 🐾

Thanks to our neighbor Butler Mini Storage, we have a convenient and safe parking arrangement available for the day allowing guests to park and enjoy a short walk to our facility. We’ve arranged a safe walking path off the road for everyone’s convenience and safety!

Please follow the posted signs, and our volunteers will be stationed throughout the area to help guide you.
