The Fox's Den is a unique store specializing in "upcycled" homemade clothing, fashion accessories and body care items! If you like what you see, feel free to go take a peek at my Etsy store! If you don't, then leave me a post and I will respond and we can discuss a custom commission! Unfortunately, I can't say that my sweatercoats come from a pet-free home. I have several fuzzy critters who are so

kind enough to allow us to live here. That said, all the sweaters are washed repeatedly before sewing and *attemptively* kept away from animals. What I *can* say is that they come from a smoke-free home! If you've stumbled here by search of "sweatercoats" and think that something looks strikingly familiar, you might be remembering the coats created by the talented and lovely Katwise! Yes, these coats follow her patterns and descriptions. No, I did not steal any of this in an unmannerly way. She has taught me how to make them and I've embraced it!

Commissions are still in progress. Life has been hectic and things have been flowing a bit more slowly than preferred. Between sweater-craziness, I've been preparing for Pennsic. Normal routines will resume, shortly!!

This is a full-style sweatercoat made from a blend of recycled sweaters in various patterns and materials (wool, cotton, polyester, acrylic).

I very much adore making all of these lovely coats! The only bad part is the blisters I get on my thumbs and palms from all the scissor cutting. Ouch!
Ah well. No progress without pain, right?

I know, coat pictures are delayed. Having some difficulties getting some pictures of it in the beautiful outdoors due to the rain and darkness here, this past weekend. Listing it soon and I'll post it here, first.
