When: Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Details: $10 for First Run, $5.00 for Second Run (same dog)
*Runs may be limited as time permits*
Schedule will start with Utility to Beginner Novice

Class Description: Rally Obedience Level I is a fun, fast-paced introduction to the exciting sport of AKC Rally. This six-week course is designed for handlers and dogs who are new to Rally and want to build a solid foundation in reading, understanding, and performing AKC Rally signs. This class is ideal for: first-time Rally participants and/or dogs and handlers who have completed a basic obedience course. PRE-REQUISITE: DOGS IN THIS CLASS SHOULD HAVE A BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF SIT, DOWN, STAY, AND COME PRIOR TO ENROLLING.

Class Description: Rally Obedience Level 2 is for handlers and dogs that have learned the Rally Novice signs and want to continue on to Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent. Signs used in AKC Rally Advanced & Excellent are covered as well as a quick overview of the Novice signs, Rally rules, courses, and many other items. PRE-REQUISITE: DOGS IN THIS CLASS SHOULD HAVE A BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF SIT, DOWN, STAY, AND COME AND BE PREPARED TO WORK OFF LEASH IN A RALLY RING WITH THEIR HANDLER PRIOR TO ENROLLING.

BDTA is offering a NEW CLASS on Tuesdays May 26 - June 30 from 1pm-2pm. Your instructors are Tammy Boice and Ann Ferguson - who BOTH have competed with multiple dogs through the AKC Rally program.

Another set of rally and obedience trials in the books! Thank you so very much to the competitors who came and supported our trials even with the chaos of the NFL draft going on. Big thank you to all of our judges, stewards and people behind the scenes that made it happen! We were even able to celebrate some of our own that hit big milestones in their obedience careers. Just another reason to have cake! 😂 Congratulations to all who earned a qualifying score and our new title holders!! Look for our next set of Rally/ obedience trials scheduled for October 2-3-4, 2026. Hope to see you then!
