Also me: Anyway, this is the mare I just bought that I'm going to breed in the spare time that I don't have with the money I already owe to the federal government for the very expensive education that taught me how to breed horses.

UPDATE: Big thanks to everyone who passed on information about potential nurse mares! Unfortunately we were not fast enough to be first in line for any of them, but I'm sure they are appreciated where they are! It appears we have been successful in inducing lactation in a dry mare that my client had at home, so happy endings are coming everyone's way!!! If any of you all ever find yourselves in a similar situation, remember that it is often possible to induce lactation in a dry mare as long as she has raised a foal before.

I now have the capability to offer mobile radiology! This is going to provide better diagnostics AND more convenience! Shoeing films, sale and pre-purchase radiographs, call and let me know what you need.

Fun fact: this particular xray was of one of my own horses years ago, and yes, she recovered. Farriers work miracles, I just take the pictures.

In between all the mares I had a chance to adjust some show lambs for this wonderful young lady and she took home ALL the hardware at the McClain County youth livestock show! This is your reminder that getting your show animals adjusted will help them feel great and show better! I'm in Oklahoma for about another month before I get back to SD for breeding season.
