Canyon Lake Veterinary Hospital first opened its doors in 1974. At that time, Dr. Mortimer worked with only one assistant. As a result of the success of CLVH and increased demand for high quality care, our hospital family has grown to 3 Veterinarians, 5 Registered Veterinary Technicians, a Client Care Coordinator, and 2 Kennel Attendants. tal. It is with great pride and much hard work that we have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1976. Less than 5% of all animal hospitals in the country are AAHA accredited. In order to remain part of this elite group, we must keep the highest of standards and endure rigorous onsite inspections. CLVH was awarded a 25 yr. Standards of Excellence in June of 2001. In 2022, the team at Canyon Lake Veterinary Hospital merged with their sister clinic, Mountain View Animal Hospital, and continues to care for their amazing clients and patients at their new location, 1130 Jackson Blvd. The goals of the Canyon Lake Veterinary Hospital team are:
