Adopt Jax – He’s Been Waiting So Long for His Person!

Meet Jax, a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix who’s ready to find his forever home! Jax is everything you love about the breed — loyal, protective, goofy, affectionate, and incredibly smart.

He’s potty trained, knows all his commands, and is good with other dogs. No separation anxiety and loves nothing more than heading out on hikes with his 30-foot leash, where he can explore, sniff, and roam freely. At home, Jax enjoys engaging his mind with enrichment toys and puzzles, and after a fun-filled day, he’s happy to curl up beside you for some serious snuggle time.

Jax is a mellow and calm boy around the house, but he also loves doing zoomies in the yard and adventuring on the trails. He has such a funny personality and likes to talk to you. He’s reserved when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and forms deep, lasting bonds. Once you earn his trust, you’ll have a loyal best friend for life.

He is currently working on his reactivity, which is rooted in excitement. He is not a fan of strangers inside of his home so he needs slow introductions outside the home first. Because of this he needs an experienced German Shepherd owner who understands the breed’s traits and needs and understands rescue dogs. Despite this Jax is overall an easy dog and has so many amazing qualities.

Jax hasn’t been tested with young children, so he’d do best in a home with no young kids or with kids 13 and up.

Adopt Teddy!

Teddy is the total package! He is housebroken, crate trained, dog-friendly. He is with playful, medium energy, calm and relaxed in the home. He rides like a pro in the car.

This sweet boy may be a little shy at first and weary of strange men, but don't let that fool you-he warms up pretty quickly and becomes incredibly loyal and loving. He has a soft, sensitive soul and a heart of gold.

Teddy is still young and impressively intelligent. He's working on his leash skills and, true to his blue heeler side, might give a gentle nip when he's asking for more affection. With a bit of continued guidance, he'll thrive.

He is medium sized around 45lbs, shepherd/heeler mix, 1-2 years old. He is such an affectionate, goofy, sweet boy! It's hard not fall for this cutie.

Archie is looking for a very active family who can keep up with his zest for life. He would thrive with someone who loves to run, hike, and explore the outdoors. He’s good with other dogs.

Adopt Jack 🥰

Jack is a 1-year-old Husky with a heart full of love and the sweetest smile to match! This beautiful boy adores children — even babies — and gets along great with other dogs. He’d thrive in a home with a doggy friend or a family with kids.

Jack is potty trained and mellow inside the home. He loves to snuggle up with his people and is just as happy lounging on the couch as he is out exploring the world.

He still needs a bit of work on his leash manners, but he’s eager to learn. Jack would be the perfect match for an active person or family who enjoys hiking, walking, or adventuring — and who’s also patient and willing to give him the time he needs to warm up and feel safe in a new home.

Jack is a good boy with so much love to give. All he wants is a forever family to share life with.

ADOPT Maverick — from surviving on the streets to being the perfect houseguest, this gentle soul is ready for his forever home.

Maverick is great with kids of all ages, other dogs, cats, and even birds — truly a gentle spirit.

Maverick was rescued from a homeless encampment, and despite everything he’s been through, he is one of the kindest, most well-mannered dogs. He’s around 7 years old, housebroken, walks great on leash. He’s completely content just lying outside watching birds and squirrels, especially when his foster mom is gardening nearby.

Maverick has been neutered, vaccinated and is ready for his forever home.

Maverick deserves comfort, stability, and a family who will cherish him for the perfect gentleman he is.

Honey and Malfoy are looking for their forever homes — separately!

These 6–7-month-old Shepsky puppies (about 45 lbs) were once on the euthanasia list, but we couldn’t let that be their ending. Since coming into Beach Dog Rescue, they’ve blossomed into the most affectionate, snuggly, and hilarious pups.

They love people & belly rubs. They will happily follow you around like little shadows. They love the water and enjoy playing in the ocean. The like playing tug-of-war, chasing a ball, or curling up beside you for cuddle time, Honey and Malfoy bring joy to every moment. They’re potty trained, dog friendly, kid friendly, and always ready for adventure.

These babies are sweet, resilient, and full of life. They deserve active, loving families who will show them how beautiful the world can be.

Ugh! We need a foster for Dash. As of now he is going back to boarding on Sunday with Isabel.

Dash has our heart. We love him so much. His foster to adopt had a change of plans with her job and now isn't able to adopt for financial reasons and she will be away for very long hours.

Dash is such an amazing boy. He is so intelligent, zero reactivity, easy to walk, recall is great. He even lived with ducks at his first Foster's house. He is impressive and he's very young so I can't even imagine how good of a dog he is going to be when he is out of his teenage stage.

Dash has a lot of energy, he is an active boy who needs an active person. He is the world's best hiking buddy, he loves playing in the ocean and he LOVES to play with other dogs.
