Continuing with our Feline Asthma awareness, cats suffering from asthma attacks often assume a characteristic crouched posture and extend the head and neck forward while wheezing or coughing.

Feline Asthma Awareness month continues with some information on symptoms! Symptoms can include difficulty breathing, wheezing, rapid breathing, coughing or hacking, open-mouthed breathing, or vomiting. These signs can vary in intensity and may happen spontaneously or may be elicited by pressing lightly on the cat’s throat area.
