👁️ Let’s talk about eyes!

When your pet is squinting, blinking excessively, has drainage, or generally seems like their eyes are bothering them, we do not recommend putting anything in the eyes until we’re able to assess them.

Eye issues can become emergent if not treated quickly, so we suggest scheduling an appointment with us when you notice the first symptoms.

When your pet comes in to see us, we can run a variety of diagnostic tests in-clinic to choose the best treatment option and get them on the road to recovery quickly.

Oftentimes, we perform an eye stain (seen below) where stain uptake may indicate that there are abrasions or ulcers causing the discomfort.

Give us a call if your pet is having issues with their eyes (or anything else!)
