Happy Friday!

🐶June is Microchip awareness month!🐱

Pets with microchips are significantly more likely to be reunited with their families if they become lost. A microchip is a simple, safe, and permanent form of identification that can make all the difference in helping your pet find their way home.

. We offer microchip implantation right here at our clinic! If you'd like more information or would like to schedule an appointment, message us on social media or give us a call/text Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We're always happy to help keep your pets safe and protected.

Megan taking care of a COHAT “Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment/Treatment”. 💪 🦷🪥

We set the highest expectations as a team in order to provide an extremely detailed service to your pet! Did you know that by age 3, most dogs and cats show signs of dental disease? We recommend an annual COHAT as part of your pets routine care. It is important to have this detailed inspection including Dental X-rays to examine what our eyes can’t see.

✅ VOHC approved dental treats and certain chew toys are great ways to prevent plaque buildup! 🦴

❌ Bad breath 😷in pets is often a sign of dental disease. Dental disease can lead to pain, tooth loss, and difficulty eating. It can can also affect the heart, liver, and kidneys if bacteria enter the bloodstream.

*Routine health tips*
- Try brushing your pets teeth or using water additives to maintain healthy teeth.
- Avoid hard bones and toys that could chip a tooth.

*What to look for*
- Drooling, pawing at the mouth, trouble eating, and swollen gums - all potential evidence of dental disease.
