Fire Evacuation Trailer Loading
It is hot, dry and very high winds this weekend putting us in extreme HIGH fire danger 🔥
We live up against national Forrest and being able to get off property quickly is very important! Practice, practice, practice with your herd!
How long does it take you?
We just loaded in 3 minutes 🙌
Yesterday, Phoenix, the young yearling who boards with us, didn’t want to load, so that showed me I needed to take time practicing with him.
Today, no practice, just loaded right up. Which means our training session yesterday mattered to him 🙌
Practice loading so you can see who needs extra training time ! In an emergency, you don’t get extra time ‼️
Yes, my animals ride rear facing! Maple, my big saddle donkey, will rub herself completely raw in the trailer. She had a huge trailer wreck before o got her and she can get very nervous in the trailer at times. Once we started having her ride rear facing, she’s never rubbed herself again. So now everyone rides backwards 😂

Happy 14th Birthday to Lil’ Sq**rt!
I raised you since you were just a yearling, and now you’ve raised not only my kids, but everyone’s kids; cousins, friends, neighbors, entire schools have met you-he just walks in the building like he owns the joint 😂, birthday parties, he’s gone Trick-or-Treating, he’s literally done it all. He not only builds confidence in children learning to safely be around equine, but also he’s helped with lots of project mules and donkeys over the years bringing a calming vibe and a sense of security. You are one special little mini Horse.
