Another heat wave is upon us! 🌡🥵
Help keep your pets safe by knowing the signs of heat stroke and how to prevent it.

Your dog's safety is our top priority. With the heat index rising, please take these precautions to protect your pet from overheating.
Your Action Plan:
-Indoors is best: Keep pets in a cool, ventilated room.
-Short breaks only: Limit outdoor time during daylight hours.
-Hydration is key: Provide plenty of cool water.
🚨 KNOW THE SIGNS of heatstroke:
-Excessive Panting: Is your dog breathing heavily?
-Heavy Drooling: More than usual?
-Red Gums: Are their gums a dark or bright red?
-Rapid Heart Rate: Does their pulse feel too fast?
-Behavior Changes: Are they acting confused, weak, or dizzy?
If you see these signs, use cool (not icy) water to lower their temperature and call us immediately! Every second counts.
