We are celebrating the birthday of our newest team member, Dr. Kirsten Reis, relief veterinarian at PAH. A native Pennsylvanian, Dr. Reis earned her degree from UT Vet school in 2006 and has focused on emergency veterinary care throughout her career. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and three cats, as well as hiking, running, and exploring the outdoors. We are thrilled to have her join the Powell Family and hope she has a wonderful birthday!

In commemoration of our 50th Anniversary, we were honored with a special visit from the founder, Dr. James Sternberg, who designed and built this clinic in 1975. Initially, it was a large animal hospital with 4 stalls and a barn, primarily serving cattle and equine. Over time, it has evolved into a small animal clinic dedicated to providing quality care to our community's cherished dogs and cats. Despite numerous changes throughout the years, our clinic remains a Powell staple, thanks to the loyalty of our clients and the strong foundation laid. We are fortunate to have grown alongside our town and be a part of its history. We extend our gratitude to Dr. Sternberg for sharing his story and continuing to be an integral part of Powell Animal Hospital.
