As we wrap up another wonderful Vet Tech Week, we want to give one more BIG shoutout to our amazing team — Emilie, Tabatha, Dana, Emily, and Danielle! 🎉🐾

These incredible ladies bring so much more than knowledge and skill to Emory Animal Hospital. They bring compassion, dedication, laughter, and a genuine love for every patient who comes through our doors. ❤️ From the happiest puppy visits to the most difficult days, they give their all to make sure our patients receive the very best care. We are so fortunate to have each of them on our team!

🐾💚 VET TECH WEEK SPOTLIGHT: EMILIE 💚🐾

Emilie is our Head Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT) and one of the most familiar faces here at Emory Animal Hospital! 🥰 A 2013 graduate of LMU with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medical Technology, Emilie has been part of our team for over 12 years! 🥳 That makes her our longest-serving team member, second only to Dr. Skelley!

Emilie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our hospital, but it's her wonderful personality and genuine warmth that make her so special! 💕 She leads with a big smile and an even bigger heart, making everyone around her feel welcomed, comfortable, and right at home. Her friendly, caring nature has made her a favorite among our pet parents, patients, and coworkers alike! Whether she's caring for a patient, comforting a worried pet parent, or helping a teammate, Emilie has a way of making everyone's day a little brighter! ☀️

We are so grateful for her years of dedication, her leadership, and the kindness she brings to our hospital every single day!

WEEK SPOTLIGHT: TABATHA (aka TAB!) 💚🐾

If there's one thing we can always count on, it's Tab getting things DONE! 💪😻

Tabatha is one of our amazing Licensed Veterinary Medical Technicians (LVMTs), a Certified Pet Nutrition Coach, and continues to serve as President of the Tennessee Veterinary Technician Association! 🎉 We are so proud of her dedication to the veterinary profession!

Tab wears MANY hats here at Emory Animal Hospital! From providing excellent patient care, to managing our social media, keeping our display board looking great, and helping our up front in Client Care, she does it all!

A true go-getter, Tab helps keep our team organized and things running smoothly. She's always willing to jump in wherever she's needed, and her hard work, initiative, and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team! 💚

If you know Dana, you know there's never a dull moment when she's around! 😹 Her quick wit, hilarious sense of humor, and fun-loving personality keep us laughing, even on the most stressful days! She has a special way of making the tough days a little easier and the good days even better! 💚

But there's so much more to Dana than her sense of humor! She's an incredibly talented technician with a big heart for her patients. Her outgoing personality makes it easy for her to connect with our clients, helping them feel comfortable and cared for. And when she's not caring for our patients, she also volunteers her time helping rehabilitate wildlife! 🦝🐾

Dana brings so much laughter, compassion, and talent to our team, and we couldn't imagine Emory Animal Hospital without her!

Emily is one of those special people who has a HUGE heart for both our patients and their pet parents! 🥰 She is incredibly intelligent, detail-oriented, and compassionate, and she puts her whole heart into everything she does!

Emily consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our patients receive the best care possible. She takes the time to listen to our clients, answer their questions, and make sure they feel comfortable and informed throughout their pet's visit. ❤️

Her kindness, patience, and dedication shine through every day, and it's no wonder all of our doctors and fellow techs LOVE working with her! We are so lucky to have Emily on our team!

Danielle is compassionate, intelligent, and passionate about her patients. She's a fierce advocate for the patients in her care, always making sure they receive the very best care possible. Whether she's comforting a frightened patient or looking for ways to improve patient care, Danielle gives it her all! 🐾❤️

Her dedication to excellence strengthens our entire team and challenges us all to be better. Add in her beautiful SMILE, fun personality, and love for rescues, and you can see why we love having her around! 😁💕

🎉🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! 🐾🎉

It's one of our FAVORITE weeks of the year, and we're kicking it off by celebrating some of the hardest-working, most compassionate, and incredibly talented people in veterinary medicine — our veterinary technicians and assistants! 💚

Have you ever wondered what really goes on behind the scenes at a veterinary hospital? Well, let us tell you... A LOT! And our techs and assistants are right in the middle of it all! 🐶🐱

They're the skilled hands drawing blood, running lab tests, taking X-rays, monitoring anesthesia, administering treatments, and assisting our veterinarians with countless procedures. They're also the gentle voices calming nervous pets, the comforting hands holding a frightened patient, and the caring hearts helping pet parents through some of their most difficult moments. ❤️

But wait... there's more! They're also expert multitaskers, professional mess-cleaner-uppers, creative problem-solvers, and occasional animal negotiators (because sometimes convincing a stubborn dog to take a pill requires some serious diplomacy!). 😂🐾

What many people don't realize is that veterinary technicians and assistants are essential members of the medical team. Their knowledge, technical skills, attention to detail, and dedication play a tremendous role in keeping our patients safe, comfortable, and healthy.

At Emory Animal Hospital, we are incredibly fortunate to have a team that brings not only skill and professionalism to work every day, but also compassion, patience, humor, and a genuine love for the animals and people we serve.
