We’ve been waiting to introduce you..🤍🐑
Meet Rebecca, Willow, River, and Winnie!
Earlier this spring on a farm, Rebecca gave birth to twins, Willow and River. Not long after, she developed serious health complications and was unable to nurse her babies, who had to be bottle-fed.
As we followed their story and remained in contact with the farmer caring for them, we hoped that one day we might be able to welcome Rebecca and her lambs to Rosie’s.
Then something unexpected happened: A neighboring farmer had a lamb (Winnie) whose mother was also unable to nurse her. Since Willow and River were already being bottle-fed, Winnie joined them. Sweet Rebecca took her in as her own.
The three lambs were raised together—and before long, River and Winnie became inseparable. When the opportunity finally came to bring Rebecca and her babies to Rosie’s, everyone agreed that Winnie belonged with them, too.
So what began as a mother and her twins became a beautiful family of four. Rebecca, Willow, River, and Winnie arrived just now and are now settling into quarantine in the horse barn, where they’ll spend the next two weeks receiving veterinary care, getting to know our team, and adjusting to their new home.
We’re so grateful to welcome this sweet family to Rosie’s. As always, providing sanctuary begins with excellent care. Veterinary exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, nutrition, and ongoing medical support are all part of helping new residents thrive. If you’d like to help us provide everything this family needs, we’d be deeply grateful for your support.
Welcome home, Rebecca, Willow, River, and Winnie. 💜
