“Like a pig to mud” 🐷🐖💦

Junior is reminding everyone to stay cool today!! We will be emptying and refilling his piggy pool multiple times today to help him stay cool and hydrated. The water was crystal clear less than a minute before this pic was taken!

Reminders for hot weather:
Never leave your animal in a parked car!
Try to walk your dogs early in the morning or late evening when it is cooler.
Keep walks and exercise short. It’s too hot!
Make sure your dog or cat has access to plenty of fresh water.
Watch out for hot pavement!

We are sad to say that Dr. Solomon and his family will be moving to Connecticut. He is leaving on good terms and we will miss him a lot. Good news is that he will be coming back periodically to help out. If you know that you would like to see him, these are the dates so far that he will be back at Canal Clinic helping out your furry little family members:

NOVEMBER IS ADOPT A SENIOR MONTH!

It is much harder for seniors to get adopted so the month of November is dedicated to spotlighting fosters and how great they can be!

Honey is a 10yr old beagle mix who is also blind. This makes even harder for her to get adopted. Honey is extremely friendly, loves affection and is dog AND cat friendly!

She will need patience as she gets used to her new environment but he is a smart girl and will pick it up quickly. Honey deserves to live out her golden years feeling safe and loved. Do you have the heart to adopt a senior?
