⚡ **POWER IS BACK - AND SO ARE WE!** ⚡

We are happy to announce that our power has been restored and **SNIP is open again today!**

We know the recent power outage caused us to close unexpectedly and required us to reschedule a number of appointments. Our team has been working to reach everyone who was affected, and you should have received communication regarding your rescheduled appointment. If you have not heard from us yet, please reach out!

📅 We will also be **opening up our booking schedule again toward the end of this week**, so keep an eye out for an announcement!

We have 3 SNIPPERS down in Nashville attending the Western Veterinary Conference! 🐾

We can’t wait to hear about the newest information, ideas, and knowledge they’ll be bringing back to the clinic. We’re always looking for ways to learn, grow, and continue providing the best care possible to our patients and clients!

8/18/26 Update: power has been restored

⚠️ POWER OUTAGE UPDATE ⚠️

Due to the storms that came through Portage, SNIP is currently without power, internet, and phone service. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to operate at this time and are closed until power is restored.

We are doing our best to reach everyone affected as quickly as possible to let them know about the closure. Please be patient with us, as our ability to communicate is currently limited without internet and phone service.

At this time, we have not been given any indication of when power will be restored. Once we are back up and running, we will work to contact everyone who was affected and get appointments rescheduled as quickly as possible.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we work through this unexpected situation. We will post updates here as soon as we have more information.

Porter County Road Closure through the end of July.

ROAD CLOSURE - U.S. 6 in Porter County

U.S. 6 will close between Mander Rd and C.R. 350 E on or after Monday, June 1 through the end of July for a bridge deck overlay at Coffee Creek. The official detour will follow State Road 49 and State Road 2.
