We are beyond proud to share that Avalyn and Wesley finished 𝑻𝒐𝒑 5 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝑷𝑹𝑯𝑨 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓 1 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓-𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 🏆

This is an incredible accomplishment, especially considering it was Avalyn’s first full year of reining. Her consistency in the pen, paired with Wesley’s steady partnership, made her a strong and competitive presence all season long. 💪🐴

Avalyn’s hard work, dedication, and passion have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be more happy for her. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next year! 🌟

Team SMPH wrapped up the season in style at the EPRHA Fall Spooktacular! This was the perfect show to take our prospects to, and our 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 absolutely 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝑨-𝑮𝒂𝒎𝒆 to close out the season strong! 💪🔥

This dynamic duo had an outstanding weekend, improving with every ride and finishing strong with a 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟎🔥 to be🏆 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝟐 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲! Their hard work, focus, and determination truly paid off. Way to go, Jenna and Wyatt! 🌟👏

Avalyn and Wesley were on fire all weekend, staying in the 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟓 🔝 in nearly every class and delivering a 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝟕𝟎🔥 to finish 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐲! Their consistency, confidence, and teamwork was incredible! Awesome job, Avalyn and Wesley! 🏆🙌

We also brought along some of our young prospects for their first big-show experience, and they handled it like pros! Each one gained valuable exposure, and we can’t wait to see them shine in the show pen next season. 🌟

✨ 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙍𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙍𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 💙

This weekend was one that meant a little more to all of us at 𝙎𝙪𝙯𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙨. It marked a very special debut: 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙒𝙤𝙡𝙛𝙚 and 𝙈𝙍𝙄 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 stepped into the show pen together for the very first time. ✨

What many may not know is that Blue was owned by our dear client and friend, 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙬𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙩. Shawn passed away just a few months ago after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Blue truly meant the world to Shawn. His love and pride for that horse were unmistakable. He showed him off to anyone who would listen and never missed a chance to talk about him. Shawn had big dreams of seeing Blue become a reining horse.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙙, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. 💫

In only his 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 ever off the farm, Blue rose to the occasion with grace and heart, showing the kind of promise Shawn always believed was there. And to top it all off, he brought home his 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙉𝙍𝙃𝘼 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠! 💪💰

We were overwhelmed with all of the kind words and admiration for this sweet, talented, young stallion. It truly felt like Shawn was right there with us, making sure everyone noticed his boy. 💙

𝙎𝙪𝙯𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙨 had an exciting and successful weekend at EPRHA’s Reining Thunder! 💥 We’re proud to say the future looks bright with some strong rides and big moments. 🌟

𝙎𝙪𝙯𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙨 and 𝘿𝙪𝙣 𝙄𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙯𝙠𝙚𝙮 aka “Sadie,” owned by 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧, kicked off the weekend with a 𝟕𝟏 🔥 in the Green Horse on Friday—earning 3𝙧𝙙 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 and bringing home a check! 💰 Sadie also stepped up in the Futurity with a fantastic performance. A few bobbles kept them out of the money, but her ability to handle the pressure was a testament to her promising future. We’re already looking ahead to the next Futurity in New York! 🗽

𝙅𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 and 𝘽𝙞𝙜𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙤𝙠 aka “Wyatt,” owned by 𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙄𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣, had a great ride in the Green Reiner L1 & L2—finishing in the 𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙩𝙚𝙣! They even tried their hand in the rookie 1 and got another 𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙩𝙚𝙣!💪 Way to go Jenna and Wyatt! They really are proving to be a great team 🙌

A special shoutout to 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙒𝙤𝙡𝙛𝙚 and 𝙈𝙍𝙄 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 aka “Blue” who made his show debut this weekend! ⭐️ Blue handled it like a pro, even though it was his VERY FIRST SHOW. The duo placed in the 𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙩𝙚𝙣 in Friday’s Green Horse, and then tied for 2𝙣𝙙 in the Green Horse and Blue earned his 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 NRHA check! 🎉💵

Horse showing, especially in reining, is so much more than just riding patterns and scoring points. It’s a strategic blend of maintaining your horse’s mental and physical well-being while guiding them toward fulfilling their full potential. Every horse is different. Some may need a little more help with certain maneuvers. While others seem to flow naturally through the pattern. But the real art? It’s knowing when to help and when to trust them to do their job.
