As most of you have heard, over the last few weeks we have started to transition away from outside pharmacies. Starting July 1st, we will no longer be accepting requests for prescriptions from outside pharmacies. Instead, prescriptions that are not filled in house, will be prescribed through our own online pharmacy, VetSource. We will also still be accommodating prescriptions through Wedgewood Pharmacy, Hills to Home and Purina Vet Direct.
We understand that this a change may seem surprising, but please know, our goal is to always provide your pets with the best medicine, including any medications they may need. And This decision allows us to do that.
This change allows us to focus more on our patients and providing the best possible care. Instead of our time and resources going to filling and faxing prescriptions from numerous places all day, we are able to spend time where we are needed most- with our patients and clients. Using our online pharmacy also gives us the confidence that your medications are coming from a safe and secure manufacturer that also provides competitive pricing. By using our online pharmacy, you are also eligible for manufacturer rebates for numerous prescriptions, especially flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
