Our Legend

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our legendary pony, Apple Gray. With equal parts stubbornness and heart, he lovingly taught Brooke Myers how to ride and went on to spend years helping the next generation of young horsemen and horsewomen.

He enjoyed every child he worked with, teaching them valuable lessons both about life and in the saddle. Some easy, and some the hard way, just as a good pony does. Apple Gray was the perfect combination of cute, charming, and a touch of stubborn.

He was loved by so many and left a lasting impact on countless lives. Who knew such a little pony could leave such a big hole in our hearts?

While we will miss him dearly, we find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and is running free again. We imagine there may even be a few folks up there waiting with a peppermint and a sip of Busch Light just for him.

Rest easy, our sweet boy. 💙
