🚨 The 4th of July is just around the corner! And do you know what that means? 🌟 FIREWORKS! 🌟

To help keep your pets safe, prepare for the noise and keep them indoors during celebrations. Fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be frightening and stressful for pets. Celebrate safely! 🎉🥳🐾

Pet Safety Tips

🐾 ABOVE ALL, KEEP YOUR PETS SECURELY INSIDE YOUR HOME.
🐾 Create a safe, quiet place where pets can retreat.
🐾 Close curtains or blinds
🐾 Turn on the TV or radio to help mask outside noise.
🐾 Make sure ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
🐾 Keep recent photos of your pets on hand, just in case.
🐾 Exercise your pet before festivities begin.
🐾 Keep pets occupied with toys, treats, and extra attention.
🐾 Consider using calming diffusers or calming sprays.
🐾 If you're hosting a gathering, remind guests not to let pets outside.
🐾 Keep pets away from matches, fireworks, and open flames.

🍩🐾 Happy National Donut Day! 🐾🍩

Did you know National Donut Day is celebrated on the first Friday in June? It was established by The Salvation Army in Chicago in 1938 to honor the "Donut Lassies," the incredible women who served donuts to American soldiers on the front lines of World War I. ❤️

Of course, Wills couldn't let a holiday like this pass without participating. 😸

In the interest of journalism (and science), we bravely sacrificed two donuts so Wills could conduct a taste test. After a couple of investigative licks, he declared them... acceptable.

🐾🎉 Check out Daddy living his best life during Pet Appreciation Week! 🎉🐾

This adorable pug belongs to Reign, one of our amazing cat caretakers. Daddy is cruising in style in the stroller that Reign and her husband won during the live auction at our recent Truly Pawsome Night event. 🐶💙

While the rest of us are walking, Daddy has apparently decided that's a job for other people. 😆 Between the comfy ride, the fresh air, and all the attention, it's safe to say this little guy has fully embraced the spoiled-pug lifestyle.

We should all aspire to Daddy's level of relaxation. 🐾👑
