We’re officially opening up spots for our Spring 2026 Bird Dog Training Program at Sage Spring.

We’re accepting both upland and waterfowl dogs for next season.
Dogs must be at least 6 months old when training begins.

Whether you want your dog steady on birds, confident in the field, reliable on retrieves, or working well around gunfire, we tailor each program to the dog and the owner’s goals.

Spots will be limited — we only take a handful of dogs each year so every dog gets the attention and reps they need.

Georgia stayed locked up even after multiple shots as we harvested a bird from a different dog’s point.

This bird had jumped up into a tree, just outside her scent cone, but she never gave up on it.

Grouse hunting will humble your shooting when you take them on the wing, but that’s what makes it so addictive — every point, every flush, every miss turns into another great day in the woods. 🌲🪶

We even mixed in a one-day turkey hunt for something a little different. 🦃
