Update on the re**al prolapse cat that we rescued and brought in for surgery. 2.5 weeks have passed. He was kept in a cage while receiving his daily dose of antibiotics. He went for a follow up. His sutures were removed. The vet gave thumbs up to have him released. His bum looks much better now. He is neutered, vaccinated and ready to return to his familiar ground.
Feral cats deserve to be healthy and happy. We help any cat we can, as long as we have amazing followers and donors who help us raise the funds needed to afford their care.
A big thank you to his trapper, foster mom who nursed him back to health, the vet who surgically repaired his injury, and of course you, the financial backers.
Hope is now released and the feeder will keep an eye on him.

UPDATE on prolapse cat. It is a re**al prolapse. He is a male. Unsure why he has it because everything seems normal. He is in surgery, and he will have his prolapse sutured, and he will be neutered and vaccinated. He will be kept in a cage for 2 weeks while getting antibiotics and then released back to where he came from.
Please consider donating. The money will be towards his surgery, TNR, medicine, food, and litter for the next 2 weeks. Thankfully, he will feel much better soon.

It is kitten season. These 2 newborns dropped off with us (was a planned drop off). They were found in Somerset, crying, cold, and no mom in sight. The finder is still searching to see if there is a mom or other newborns. 🤞

It is graphic. This is a prolapse. We are trying to trap this kitty so we can help her/him. We will need to raise funds to pay for the vetting. Once trapped, the vet will determine if surgery is needed.

If anyone has large or extra large cages occupying your basement, garage, shed... we could certainly use them. Kitten season is here. We need cages to hold litter of kittens, moms with her babies, and very pregnant expecting moms who are about to pop.

UPDATE: Daddy is FIV+, FeLV+. His organs are in bad shape. We will, humanely, help him cross the rainbow bridge tomorrow. Once we get the final bill we will see if we need any more donations or whether we can close it.
