So apparently we have a new resident we haven't seen before today. Since this is right where the dogs enter the backyard, I was immediately thinking relocation. Then Glenn happened to say, 'What if it's a female and she's laid eggs?". I wasn't thinking that at all so I looked it up. Milk snakes lay eggs in June *sigh*. Guess I'll be checking before I take the dogs out to make sure it's not out there for the next few months...
I gotta say - that's a pretty big snake for around here!

A little update: Allie's liver numbers are high for some reason so she's on special food & a nice expensive supplement 🙄 We retest her in a few wks.
Mack was acting 'off' since Thursday. He was super restless like he couldn't get comfortable at all no matter what. BYy Friday he was walking very stiff like he was in pain. I gave him some Gabapentin & doxy hoping it would help - it is & he's getting better. So I think it's a lyme flareup. I had gotten him 4DX tested just last month & it was negative. When he last tested positive for lyme, I had taken him in because he had a seizure a few yrs back. And here we go again since he just had a seizure a few wks ago. In doing some research though (fun fact), a dog that has previously had lyme can test negative & still have a flare w/stress or change of season. Who knew?!
Good times over here to say the least...

We got 2 deliveries today but I have no idea who to thank since there was no note inside. The one package was an awesome bag of bully sticks (whew!). The other was a box with all kinds of treats from chew sticks and braided collagen sticks to jerky sticks and soft stinky treats. Tonight is gonna be a wild Sunday night and everyone will be happy for sure! The gang here thanks you 🥰

Does anyone get bully sticks in bulk (made in the US of course)? Where are the best prices? We currently have none is the house which has never happened before. Something tells me it's gonna cost me an arm & a leg 🙄

Thank you Lois P for the check donation! We could really use it as (once again) it's time to order more food. And with all the vet visits and Allie's this coming weekend, we will be sure to put it to good use 🥰
