As they curate the next , their webApp helps us to create financial value from converting the food waste in to compost. We can then access materials and supplies for our farm leveraging the value we've created.

Supporting them helps pay for operational costs to keep the WebApp running and continued work supporting our volunteer events!

Formerly known as UglyCSA, 412 Food Rescue's FarmShare program allows subscribers to purchase a share to receive a weekly bag of local produce for 10 weeks during peak growing season (July-September).

This year they're opening up the opportunity to sponsor a share, encouraging businesses and corporations to directly contribute to the fight against hunger. Sponsored shares are a way to pay forward the 10 weeks of farm-fresh local produce–directly supporting local communities, local agriculture, and 412 Food Rescue!

🌿 Dawn of the Living Compost: Part 1 & 2 - Impact Unveiled! 🌿

Over two eerie Saturdays, our group of 15 daring ChangeMakers joined Involvemint and Worm Return unearthed an astounding 339 pounds of compost, fresh from the clutches of the Compost Monster (shoutout to artist and site manager Jones - on IG for this resurrection). But our spine-chilling adventures didn't end there!

We also harvested the last 33 pounds of food, all of which was lovingly donated to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, making sure none of it went to waste. 🎃

These 63 hours of service by our ChangeMakers conjured nearly $1,000 worth of community credits, ready to be used by our project to access and exchanged among our local businesses, including our sponsors at Dylamato's Market, LLC and Nancy's Revival Diner. 💰

This illustrates the hidden value of community service that is recognized through Involvemint Community Impact Network often unseen but a treasure for building shared wealth. 💎

And here's the best part: unlike most urban farms, composting is a year-round activity! So get ready to stay engaged with the outdoors and enjoy some chilling exercises during the hibernation season. Stay tuned for our upcoming November and Winter events! 👻🌨️
