Meet Junior, a 14-year-old Chihuahua mix who injured his rear leg and needed urgent care his family simply couldn't afford.
Suzanne was already stretched thin covering her mortgage, utilities, and her own medical expenses. Unfortunately, there was nothing left for an emergency vet bill and Junior was hurting.
Through our Bridge the Gap program and the support of The Grey Muzzle Organization AHS' Pet Resource Center coordinated a same-day appointment for Junior. Thanks to The Grey Muzzle Organization covering 89% of the cost, Junior received a full exam, diagnostics, pain management, and take-home medications. The best news? It was a sprain, not a fracture, so no surgery was needed.
Suzanne said it best: "I got my little guy back and the best news is that he is already starting to feel better and I can't wait for him to be all healed up and back to himself again."
We're so grateful to The Grey Muzzle Organization for making sure neither of them had to face this alone. ๐พ๐งก
