2/16/2025 Handler was able to lasso pet with slip lead. Took outside briefly to use the bathroom. Walked back to kennel, once inside of new kennel pet redirected and attempted to bite. Handler was able to remove leash by using clip lead.
2/15/2025 Dog was at front of kennel alarm barking at customers. Handler was able to leash over head. Once leash was on dog airsnapped handler opened kennel door wide dog redirected attention jumped down. Walked well to play yard. Stopped to sniff. In yard, explored on opposite end of yard. Tossed treats dog was not interested. Low tail wag. Handler slowly approached. Dog tolerated lower back scratches skin crawled and lip licked. Continued to explored. Walked well back to kennel. Dog stood next to handler while waiting for room to clear out. Jumped into kennel and turned around to face handler. Did not attempt to remove leash.
2/14/2025 K9 was at front of kennel with a soft body, wagging tail when handler approached kennel; K9 tried to push out of kennel but handler was able to place leash; jumped out of kennel and walked to play yard with a loose leash; once in yard sniffed/explored; urinated/defecated; handler was able to pet K9 with no issue; walked back on return; K9 jumped into kennel and K9 began to bark at handler; airsnapping at handler when trying to remove leash; handler slowly tried to reach for stopper but K9 again began to air snap towards handler's hand; handler call for a second handler to help; 2nd handler was able to grab leash and direct K9 out of kennel; K9 went up to 2nd handler and was able to place clip leash; K9 then began to bark/air snap; 2nd handler tried guiding K9 into kennel but did not want to go in; 2nd handler tossed treats into kennel but still did not want to go in; handler used leash pressure to guide K9 in; jumped into kennel; 2nd handler was able to remove leash with clip leash.
2/12/2025 No issues leashing and walking outside. Allowed petting. Froze and made a sound when handler picked up to place back in kennel.
2/10/2025 Handler conducting morning cleaning. K9 demand barking at front of kennel for attention. Handler opened kennel gate, easily able to leash K9 by hand with no issues. K9 hopped out, walked with minimal pull and loose body to play yard. Sniffed and explored in play yard, approached handler frequently for pets. Leash came off while K9 was sniffing around; handler able to place leash back with no issues. Walked with no pull back to kennel. Upon attempting to place K9 back in kennel, K9 low growled. K9 did eventually hop back into kennel on his own with moderate leash pressure. K9 is food motivated. Advise potential adopters to leash and walk K9 rather than carry; he seems to prefer the independence of walking and does not enjoy being picked up.
2/8/2025 During morning cleaning tried leashing the K9 to clean the kennel. K9 was air snapping at the leash. K9 took hot dogs nicely. Wasn't able to leash using treats. I had to towel wrap K9 with a medium hold while restraining. I controlled mobility of their neck due to K9 snapping under the towel. I was able to calm them down while the kennel was being cleaned. Returned to kennel easily.
2/7/2025 "finder walked dog into Bubble. When handler began removing harness, dog lightly growled. Dog snapped towards handler when guiding on scale, baring teeth. Attempting to muzzle wrap, dog whipped around, trying to lunge towards handler. Handler used towel to scoop up, dog baring teeth, growling, alarm barking. Handler kept leash tension away from face, able to administer vaccines. Carried to kennel, using clip leash to unload into kennel
