🆘Veronica needs our help! She needs a foster by her deadline on 9/17, or she will be euthanized!🆘

Veronica came to the shelter on 9/6, along with 2 other 1 year old female dogs, who is on bite quarantine and who is under review. Veronica came up to the ACO and Sheriff with a wagging tail, soliciting for food that they gave her. They stated she isn’t leash trained and didn’t like restraint. 🦮

Only one attempt has been made to evaluate Veronica. When staff tried leashing her, she thrashed and bit at the leash. They taxied her to a yard and she froze and wouldn’t move during the ride. She pawed at the leash and kept her distance from handlers while in the yard and Veronica continued swatting and biting at the leash. Poor girl froze in the taxi on her ride back to her kennel then began thrashing in the taxi. 😢

Veronica is 3 years old and weighs 43 lbs. She needs an experienced foster who can help her with her fears of being leashed. Veronica hasn’t shown any defensive behavior and deserves a chance to prove herself in a relaxed home environment. Can you help this girl by fostering? 🙏🙏🙏

❌He Has Been Given a Deadline❌

Lowrider will be put on the Euthanasia List on Wednesday, Sept. 17th. 😔

He has been waiting for over 65 days to begin his next best chapters!

Lowrider is a happy, active, fun boy who knows that he is not supposed to be living his life in a kennel, in a shelter. He will need time to decompress, to adjust to his new routines and know that he is home forever. 💗

He no doubt had a toy box in his previous life. Watching him sort through all the balls to choose just the right one was adorable! Playing ball ranks top on his list of hobbies! He loves nothing more than to be with his favorite humans. 💗

He is searching for someone to take the leap of faith with him!

Hi friends, it’s me—Meatloaf! 🎸 I’m a lovable hunk of a dog looking for my forever home.

I just turned 5 in August, I’m living in a foster home now, showing off what an amazing boy I am. I’m fully potty trained, have great manners, listen well, and my favorite thing in the world is cuddling up with my people. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or winding down for the night, I’ll be right there, soaking up every moment.

I’m goofy, playful, and full of personality. I love toys, belly rubs, head scratches, splashing in water, even bath time! 🚿 Car rides? Count me in—just crack a window so I can feel the breeze.

I’m non-reactive to other dogs on walks and hikes 🐾, but I really want to be your one and only at home. I’ve waited long enough for love and I’m ready to soak it all up! Older kids (13+) would be best because I get so happy and excited to see my people.
