Starting now: all gifts are DOUBLED for Paw it Forward!
Long before they learn our routines, our pets somehow know our hearts. They know when we need comfort, when we need laughter, and when we simply need companionship. The trust and love we share with our pets is one of life’s greatest gifts — and the inspiration behind Paw it Forward.
For the next 72 hours, we invite you to celebrate the joy our pets bring to our lives by paying it forward so that other pets and families can experience that same love. And thanks to a generous gift from The Landenberger Family Foundation, your generosity will go even farther! They’ll match every dollar you give, up to $25,000, to provide twice the compassion, care, and protection.
Your gift will be a lifeline to rescue homeless animals, and to preserve the bond between people and their pets — like the one shared by Nicole, Snoopi and Sweet Pea (pictured).
Nicole brought her pups to PAWS’ Grays Ferry Clinic to be spayed, seeking to protect their long-term health. But during Snoopi’s exam, our medical team discovered a heart murmur that made surgery unsafe to perform. We reached out to Nicole to help her navigate the next steps, and with additional testing and a personalized care plan, Snoopi was eventually cleared for surgery.
Before long, both dogs were safely spayed and back home, giving Nicole peace of mind that they had received the vital care they needed. Nicole described the PAWS team as “so kind and thoughtful and non-judgmental,” and shared that she “would not want to bring them anywhere else.”
Thousands of pets and families will be counting on us in the coming weeks and months. Please Paw it Forward to save lives and empower devoted pet parents to protect their family bonds! Donate now via Facebook, Venmo (username ), or at phillypaws.org/pawitforward.
Ps. To thank you for providing care to pets and families in need, we’ll send some love right back to you! Supporters who give at the “Good Neighbor” level or above will receive a complimentary 15-minute professional pet portrait session at Love Me Do Photography’s Fishtown studio!
