Not complaining - just explaining. I am grateful that your support allows me to do this work, but I can be both grateful and exhausted at the same time 🩷 Please consider "no news good news" over the next few days. If anything major happens with Batts or Jack Jack or anyone else, I will let you know, but I need to prioritize the babies in my care, and my pets, while I navigate through lack of sleep 😅

Intake is also closed unless your request for me to take a cat you found also comes with the offer to foster said cat 🫠

SAFE with Charlie's Army 🩷 Thank you to everyone who pledged to help save his life, I couldn't have done it without you. His shelter name is Batts, and while I do plan to change it, for now, it's what we will call him.

He has an appointment set for tomorrow with our primary vet and we will schedule his dental then. Unfortunately, the low-cost clinics are booked out 2-3 weeks, and I can't make him wait that long when he is in pain like this, so that means we are looking at a higher cost. I think we can agree he's worth it 🥹

🚨 URGENT: PLEDGES AND FOSTER NEEDED❗️This beautiful boy is timestamped for euthanasia TOMORROW (Thursday). He needs a dental -- he is painful, bleeding from his mouth, and hypersalivating. He is an owner surrender 💔 His paperwork says he is 4 years old, vaccinated, FiV/FeLv negative. Despite his pain, he has remained a sweetheart at the shelter.

I saw this sweet boy a couple of days ago and immediately felt drawn to him. I'd really love to save him and give him a new chance at life. While I will make every effort to get his dental at one of the low-cost clinics, because of the severity, I may need to utilize our primary vet (which means it will cost more).

I have $300 left from donations that came in for Midnight that I can put towards this guy. I can keep him with me short-term and get him through surgery, but I will need a long-term foster for him.

Please remember that a pledge is a promise to donate once I confirm the cat is in my care. Pledges give me a rough idea of if the funds are there and I can responsibly take him on. Please leave your pledge in the comments (beware of scammers replying to your comment) or message them to me.

These are feral mama's kiddos 🩷 2 boys and a girl.

There was a fourth, another girl, who sadly passed away the day after Midnight last week... I just couldn't put up another black and white photo. She was the smallest, the runt, and she just wasn't absorbing nutrients or growing no matter what I did (which included syringe feeding a high-calorie recovery food, b12, fluids, heat support, antibiotics, nutri-cal, probiotics, dewormings, appetite stimulant, anti-nausea meds, etc). She passed peacefully in her sleep 💔

This "kitten season" has been brutal.

YOGA WITH KITTENS! We have 3 classes this week at two locations, and we'd love to see you there. Walk-ins are welcome, but I recommend pre-registering to secure a spot.

Between classes on Sunday, doors will stay open for anyone to come in and meet the kittens.

Thursday's class will also have some of our older kittens like Cutesy and Demure, Crow and Raven, and Gracie!

Pancake, Hugo, and some of the younger babies will also be in attendance.

To be completely honest with you, Jack Jack has the odds stacked against him. His shelter picture showed me a very swollen paw, but what it didn't show was a very malnourished kitten with urine/fecal scalding and scabbing on his ge****ls. He was listed as "11 days old," which I knew wasn't true simply based on his photo - but I didn't expect him to be closer to 4 weeks old and the size of an 11-day-old. To me, his condition says he was left without anyone caring for him (mama cat or human) for some time. Another baby that has been failed.

I am doing everything that I can for him, as I always do for the animals that come into my care. I'm fighting so hard for him. Please send good vibes his way, I don't want to lose another kitten because it was once again too late before someone got him help. 😣💔
