Dash is with me for a couple of weeks to help with some dog reactivity. He has seen multiple trainers in the past who have actually done a really nice job with him, but fell short when it came to including mom in the process. I see it all the time, people send their dogs off to training but never have any one on one handling sessions to learn all of the new buttons their dog just received! And it’s not the owners fault (y’all don’t know any better and are trusting the pros through this). Training is only one piece of the process, follow through determines the amount of success each client will experience which heavily depends on whether or not the client is taught how to properly manage their dog once they return home.

Most of the time when I get a re-train, the dog is a mess. This is not the case with Dash. The only reason he is in boarding is due to his mom’s incredibly important job that makes consistency in the beginning stages a little more difficult. Which is one of the many reasons I offer board and trains in the first place.

I cannot get over this little cutie.

Mia is smaller than my Papillon, Sonic, who is about 12lbs and jumps around like a little ferret when she is excited or playing which makes it nearly impossible for me to achieve literally anything because I’m dying at how cute she is.

Send help.

Someone please name a better career than this, I’ll wait.

Bailey started her intro to obedience class tonight and crushed it! She is super smart and eager to learn so we’re excited to see what we can tackle in a few short weeks!

**Only three working spots available**

Copper State Dog Training-Phoenix, AZ and I are excited to host the first Detection Dog Trials and seminar in Arizona! We are lucky enough to have DDT’s expert, Theresa Foster coming in to educate us all on the workings of DDT and judge our trial.

We are offering 10 working spots for the seminar and multiple audit spots. There is a max of 30 trial spots available at this event (20 available).

Don’t hesitate to reach out to Lindsey, Theresa or myself with questions / concerns regarding DDT or the seminar and trial. If you’re interested in getting registered, please submit an application. As spots fill, we will be updating the post.
