The "Chi-Chi" crew took over the clinic this week for their annual visit, and we are still obsessed! 😍 There is nothing better than seeing rescue pups thriving, happy, and living their absolute best lives. Easily the cutest batch of chihuahuas around! ❤️🐾

Pupdate!

Some adopters become part of the rescue family, and the lovely lady who took these pics is definitely one of them. ❤️

Melissa adopted her first dog from us in June 2023 when she was looking for a companion for her white Chihuahua, Jay Z. That search led her to Sasha, the red Chihuahua mix, and the two quickly became best friends.

A year later, in June 2025, she came back and adopted Blue, the long-haired pup. Then, on Valentine's Day this year, she opened her heart once again and welcomed tri-color Sweet T into her family.

One of the things we love most is that she always keeps in touch. She sends us the sweetest updates, photos, and stories, allowing us to continue watching these precious pups grow and enjoy their wonderful lives.

It means so much to us when adopters stay connected. We invest a piece of our hearts in every dog that comes through our rescue, and being able to see them happy, loved, and thriving with families like hers is one of the greatest gifts we could ask for.

Thank you for giving Sasha, Blue, and Sweet T such an amazing life, and for allowing us to continue being a small part of their journey. ❤️🐾

We’re teaming up with A Place Of Hope Small Dog Rescue this Saturday, May 2nd, to help keep our local pets safe. A microchip is the fastest way to be reunited with your best friend if they ever go missing—even if their collar comes off!

A microchip can bring your pet home ... for just $10! ❤️

This Saturday (May 2nd) we are partnering with Coastal Sunshine Animal Hospital, 6209 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504, for a low-cost microchip clinic!

Microchips significantly increase the chance of reuniting a lost dog with its owner, even if their collar or tags are lost. We always advise people to scan for a microchip when they contact us about a lost dog. If the dog is chipped, it is the quickest way to get them back to their family.

The microchip costs $10 and includes a lifetime registration with AKC Reunite. A vet tech will be doing the microchipping and we will be registering the chip for you. You will be the owner of the chip and be able to make changes as needed through AKC Reunite.

Your ID and your dog's proof of rabies (vet record or certificate) is required. If your dog is not old enough yet to have a rabies shot, please bring records of their puppy shots. Make sure your dog is wearing a collar and is leashed!
