Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week!

We’re incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing team of receptionists. This week, they deserve all the recognition! They juggle countless tasks with ease and handle everything with such grace.

As the front line of our clinic, they’re the first friendly faces you see—always ready with a warm smile to welcome you. But their role goes far beyond the front desk. They provide comfort during some of the hardest moments, like saying goodbye to a beloved pet, and they offer reassurance and compassion when pets are sick or here for care.

I’m truly proud of our kind, dedicated, and hardworking receptionists. You make a difference every single day—thank you for everything you do. You’re rockstars!

Today we received our re-certification from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)! We have now been certified for 30 years! Our practice elects to undergo a rigorous evaluation process every 3 years in which we are evaluated on 900 standards of veterinary excellence. These standards include patient care, pain management, surgery, medical records, cleanliness, dental care, emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology.

Thank you to our staff for all their continuous hard work at maintaining such a high level of excellence. Did you know that only 12–15% of vet hospitals in the United States are AAHA certified?
