We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our lesson horse Johnny. He was an integral part of our lesson program for that last 2 decades and had taught thousands of people over the years how to ride. He taught everyone from littles to adults, always being patient, careful, and kind with his riders.

As our staff adjusts to the new norm that is life without Johnny, we would love for you to share any photos of him you might have.

While some of our show string was in Waco this weekend, some of our lesson horses were on another adventure! Smokey, Reba, and Zima attended an IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) horse show hosted by the Texas Riding Academy and were superstars! The theme was color wars and our horses rocked out in pink!

We’re here in Waco this weekend for the Cowtown Classic and Mayfest Challenge double show with 11 of our horses. Friday was a busy day of trail, ranch trail, and ranch riding with 10 out of the 11 horses showing!

Tomorrow we have Main Ring classes and Western Dressage!

Do you have Spring Break plans?

We are welcoming kids ages 6-12 years old for our 2 day Spring Break Camp on March 20-21.

Each day is 8am to 2 pm.

Kids need to wear jeans and boots with heels (dress weather appropriate).

They need to bring water and a lunch for both days.

They will be learning about horses, riding, playing games and doing crafts.

They will receive a special t-shirt and will show off their new riding skills on day 2!

Also, all kids attending this camp will receive a certificate for one free kids meal at Canes!

Even though we are equipped to ride since we’re an all indoor facility, we are CLOSED today! Our staff on site said the horses are all bundled up and doing good! Also Callie the Cat is snuggled up in one of our offices!
