Make swimming safe AND fun this season! ☀️💦

Before your child jumps in, take a few minutes to set them up for success:
👀 Show them where lifeguards are and how to ask for help
🏊 Point out shallow vs. deep areas
🚶 Remind them to WALK, not run near the pool
🧴 Don’t forget sunscreen (and make sure to reapply!)
❤️ Most importantly—always keep eyes on your child

About 51% of autistic individuals will wander at some point, and wandering-related drowning remains the leading cause of death for autistic children.

This is why elopement is a safety issue, not a discipline issue.

This month means so much to our family. With Landon being diagnosed as autistic, we’ve learned to see the world in a more beautiful, unique, and meaningful way. Autism isn’t something to “fix” — it’s something to understand, support, and celebrate.
