🐾 FOUND STRAY DOG – PLEASE HELP US FIND HER OWNER! 🐾

Gila County Animal Care & Control is seeking the owner of this sweet girl who was found as a stray on Kachina Trail near the Gila County Fairgrounds.

🐕 Animal ID:
❤️ Nickname: "Shorty" (We know this may not be her actual name, but she has adjusted to it very well while in our care.)
🐾 Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer
🎨 Color: Chocolate
♀️ S*x: Female

When Shorty arrived at our shelter, she did not have a collar, registration, or a microchip, so we were unable to identify or contact an owner associated with her.

URGENT: Owner moving out of state July 1st.

Looking for a new home: Bailey. Brittany mix, spay female, 4/5 years. House broken, uses doggy door, currently an only dog but gets along with other dogs.

FYI. Bailey is wearing a gentle leader, not a muzzle, in the photo.

Hazel found herself as a stray in a Texas shelter. She was rescued by a nice person and then transported to Arizona.

Although the shelter listed her as 3 years old, her pearly white teeth and behavior leads us the believe she may be closer to 1 1/2 yrs.

Hazel loves people and believes snuggling is her job. She’s good with the other dogs and loves to run and play.

Hazel is most likely a Brittany mix possibly with some terrier or herding breed. But she is smart, lovable and willing to learn.

Update: Miss Carly had her surgery on March 24th. She’s had some complications, but now seems to be on the road to recovery. As you will see by the picture below, she has a pretty large incision that had to be reopened and cleaned out a week later. Poor baby.

The pathology report also came back stating the masses were cancerous but with clean margins.
The vet suggests, however, that she have chest X-rays again in a few weeks and then every 3 months.

Carly will remain in her permanent foster home where she is well cared for and loved.
