After 54 incredible years of caring for the pets and families in our community, it is with heavy hearts that we announce that Academy West Animal Hospital is now permanently closed.
This is not just the closing of a veterinary clinic, it is the end of a chapter that has touched countless lives, both human and animal. For more than five decades, we have had the privilege of watching puppies and kittens grow into beloved seniors, celebrating happy moments, helping through heartbreaking ones, and building relationships that became so much more than client-provider connections.
To our clients, thank you for trusting us with your cherished family members. Your loyalty, kindness, and support throughout the years meant more than words can express. You welcomed us into your lives, and we are forever grateful for the confidence you placed in our team.
To our incredible staff, thank you for your compassion, dedication, and countless hours of hard work. You weren't just coworkers—you became family. Together we celebrated victories, supported one another through challenges, and always shared the same mission: providing the best possible care for every pet that walked through our doors.
And to every wagging tail, gentle purr, happy bark, and loving face that came through our clinic, thank you. Our patients were the reason we showed up every day. Even during the most difficult times, your pets reminded us why we chose this profession. Their unconditional love, resilience, and trust gave us strength when we needed it most.
While our doors have closed, the memories we've made together will remain in our hearts forever. We will always be grateful to have been a part of your lives and honored to have cared for your beloved companions.
