Hot days are here, and your pet feels it even more than you do! ☀️🐾

Here’s what we recommend to keep your pet safe:

✅ Walk early in the morning or after sunset
✅ Keep fresh water available at all times
✅ Test pavement with your hand, if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for paws
✅ Never leave pets in parked cars, even for “just a minute”
✅ Watch for signs of heat stress: heavy panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting

If your pet seems off or overheated, call us right away. Heatstroke is an emergency.

We’ll help assess the situation and let you know if they should be seen here or referred to a local emergency clinic.

Here are some of the babies we were able to meet during our visit a few weeks ago! We at PVAH felt honored to be able to bring the donations from our Christmas raffle to RBARI and we thank you for participating. During our visit we got to spend some time with their kittens/cats, meet some pups and interact with the wonderful staff. It was a great experience and we hope to be able to return in the near future. If you or someone you know is looking for a furry addition to their family we strongly recommend looking at RBARIs instagram/website. 🐈‍⬛🐰🐹🐶

We're so excited to have received so many entries and we still have one more week to go. So excited to bring our donations to the shelters soon!!

This holiday season Parkview Animal Hospital decided to hold a raffle in hopes to collect donations for Ramapo Animal Refuge and Bergen County Animal Shelter. The raffle is for a free sick or wellness exam. The tickets will be $5 each and you are able to get as many as you'd like. We are also accepting donations if interested. If you would like to purchase a ticket or make a donation please call or text the office and one of our receptionist will be glad to help. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED.

Parkview Animal Hospital will be closing at 5pm tomorrow, Friday, October 11th.

The hospital will be closing at 5pm today. We will reopen from 8am-12pm on Sunday, September 1st. We will be closed on Monday, September 2nd. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 3rd.
