Our longest resident, Tyson is a 3 year old Boxer Pitbull mix full of love and energy. He gets along with dogs and older children and is ready for an active family to give him the home he deserves. ❤️

He enjoys long walks and playing with ANY ball ⚽️ 🎾🏀‼️

UPDATE: We are still waiting on a foster to become available thru Heart and Soul Dog Rescue Inc. to have space to accept our sweet Winston. We will let everyone know once he has left the shelter!

💙🐾 Winston’s Big Break 🐾💙

Every dog deserves a second chance. Winston, a senior Pitbull mix, has been with us since April 2024. His past made finding a home tough, but we never gave up on him.

We are proud to share that Heart and Soul Dog Rescue Inc. has pledged to pull Winston into their foster network once they have an opening!!💫🥹

Right now our Animal Care and Control Officer Michael Smith is taking Winston to our veterinarian for a full exam to get him ready for his next journey.

Look who’s here a sweet momma cat and her 4 little kittens 🐱🐱🐱🐱💕

Last week a concerned resident reached out after seeing them around and with a little patience our Animal Care & Control team was able to safely bring the whole family in.

They will all be ready for adoption or rescue in just a week stay tuned ❤️

UPDATE: Kitten has been sent to rescue!

Yesterday morning, our staff found a tiny kitten left outside our shelter doors in a box. While we don’t recommend or advise leaving animals outside like this, we want to reassure everyone that any hungry or abandoned animal will always get the care they need with us. 💙

This little one is already doing well on a slurry diet, and is being provided medical care! We can’t wait to watch him grow into the beautiful cat we know he’ll become!

Dear Rescue Partners,

We are am reaching out with an urgent plea for Winston, a senior Pitbull mix who has been in our shelter since April 28, 2024. He came to us as a stray and unfortunately had a bite incident with a small dog. Because of this history he has been overlooked time and time again.

Winston is a loving and gentle companion with people. Our staff has worked with him tirelessly, but a shelter is no place for a senior to spend what should be his golden years. Every day that passes is another day he waits without the comfort and security of a home.

We are desperate to find a placement for him. He needs a safe and understanding rescue willing to give him a chance. If you can help, or even share his story with others who may be able to, it could make all the difference for Winston.

Thank you for considering him. Any support you can provide is deeply appreciated.❤
