We are looking for a foster or an adopter for Dolla! This sweet tiny bean was adopted over the weekend and then had the ultimate betrayal of being tied to a fence in the middle of the night in a terrible neighborhood! Why they did this to this sweet girl we dont know, but what we do know is she will never be let down again! She is small about 30lbs, 4 years old, up to date on vaccines and spayed! She is dog friendly, not sure about cats. She is great on the leash and in the car! As you can see from the video she take food very gently! She loves toys! If you can even temporarily foster her so we can get her out of the shelter please reach out!!!

We hear daily " I could never foster! I wouldn't be able to let them go!" Well sometimes you dont let them go! Sometimes you "fail" and you keep them forever! You will know who is right for your house and who would do be better with someone else. Its doesn't mean we love them less, we just know that sometimes our home, pack or life is not what's best in the end!

foster failed Don Vito and EV because sometimes the dogs you’re meant to save end up saving you right back. Don Vito came to me after being surrendered to the rescue, just shortly after I lost my own dog, Vinnie. He was only supposed to stay for the weekend, but I quickly realized that what he really needed was patience, structure, and someone who believed in him—and I knew I could give him that. Then came EV, a special needs pup who had been abandoned in a dumpster in Brooklyn. The moment she entered my home, she and Don Vito formed an unbreakable bond, and I couldn’t imagine separating them. Together, they’ve not only found their forever home, but they’ve also found love, guidance, and joy with their big sister Chloe, who they adore and look up to every day.

has foster failed many times! Maple and Lydia are the newest pack members. has always wanted a big dog and when Lydia was brought home unexpectedly, he fell very much in love and knew that she was the perfect big dog for his family. Maple and Lydia have been bonded since the day they met and the idea of separating them was just to hard to think about!

Please reach out about fostering! If you think letting them go to a new home is hard, knowing they will never get a home because no one said they would foster is harder!

says her reason for fostering is:
Every foster who has come through my door has been so different, different personalities, different needs, different stories, but all so deserving of love and a second chance.Fostering truly saves lives. But what I didn’t expect is how much they’ve saved me, too. Each one leaves a mark. Each one teaches me something new. And every goodbye, as hard as it is, makes space for the next soul who needs help!

I foster because it's a small way to do a lot of good.
My home may not be perfect, but it's a nice place to decompress and get some belly rubs.
Every dog I have fostered has gone onto a wonderful forever home that's perfect for them!
I have been sad to see every one of them go, but so happy to see them go to the life they deserve in a home full of love. Also more dog friends for me 🤣

: foster because these dogs don’t have a voice. I foster so my 8 year old son knows animals are beautiful creatures and deserve so much compassion. I foster because the love they give back isn’t something that can be bottled. I foster for our baby girl Nala who changed everything 8 years ago and who crossed that rainbow bridge with, hopefully, a heart filled with loving memories. I foster because most of these dogs will die a lonely death in an overcrowded shelter without knowing love

We would love to help Winston out. If interested in fostering a wonderful senior dog, please contact us 💙

Judy Needs Your Help to Keep Going to Doggy Daycare! 🐶💖
Judy has been thriving at doggy daycare! It’s become a vital part of her routine — giving her the chance to socialize, play, and grow into a braver, more confident pup. 🐾
With her foster mama heading back to teach little humans in September, doggy daycare will help keep Judy happy, active, and well-cared-for during those long workdays.
If you’d like to support Judy’s continued growth and happiness, please consider donating to help cover her daycare costs. Every little bit helps, and Judy sends you a big tail wag in thanks! 🐕✨
Donate below to help Judy keep attending!!!! She is currently going Tuesdays and Thursdays and its $50 a day!
Venmo- jeanette-Medwid or BrickCityRescue please put in the message that its for Judy!
