🚨 TODAY IS THE DEADLINE! 🚨

We’re just TWO days away from our Snake Proofing, Dove Tune-Up & Chagas Testing Event, and registration closes TODAY, August 27 at 3:00 PM!

We’re closing registration early so our team has plenty of time to get everything organized and set up for a smooth, fun morning on Saturday.

🐍 Snake Proofing is open to ALL dogs
🩸 Chagas Testing with Bob Glass and PAVLab is open to the public
🕊️ Dove Tune-Up is for Best Retrievers-trained dogs
🎯 S***t Shooting is FREE and open to everyone

And remember, you do not have to be a Best Retrievers client to bring your dog for Snake Proofing or Chagas testing. Please share this with your dog-owning friends and family!

A huge thank you to Lost Pines Retriever Club for helping bring Bob Glass and this opportunity for Chagas testing to our event.

PART 2 🍩😂

And Sophie’s breakfast games continue…

Apparently buying everyone donuts and kolaches also gave her the right to start handing out assignments. 😂

Some followed directions. Some added their own interpretation. And some clearly felt the assignment was open to negotiation. 🤣

Either way, everybody played along and Sophie got exactly what she wanted… a whole lot of entertainment in exchange for breakfast.

I’d say she got her money’s worth. 😂🍩

And a big thank you to everyone for being good sports and participating in Sophie’s shenanigans. Life around here would be a whole lot less entertaining without a crew willing to play along. 🧡

PART 1 🍩

It started with a very generous message in the group chat: Sophie bought donuts and kolaches, and anyone who wanted breakfast could come by her truck.

What she failed to mention was the terms and conditions. 😂

Apparently Sophie wasn’t running a breakfast buffet. She was running a rewards program.

Want breakfast? Better be prepared to earn it. 🤣

And apparently five minutes of footage means Sophie made enough people work for breakfast that this now requires a Part 2. 😂🍩

And yes… Rody still has to earn his.

Turns out asking your coworkers to choose a dog breed for each other tells you more than we expected. 😂🐾

Hunter gave Tori Pit Bull.
Tori gave Hunter Cocker Spaniel.

Hunter figured his out first, so we’ll give him bragging rights on this one. 😂

We’re not saying their breed choices were personal… but we’re also not saying they weren’t. 👀🤣

Now the real question: if you worked with these two, what breed would YOU have put on their forehead? 🐾

Dogs all day. Hello, 20K! 🐾🎉

Somehow there are now 20,000 of you following along with Best Retrievers, and that deserves a pretty big THANK YOU!

Thank you for cheering on our dogs, celebrating our staff, watching puppies grow, following the competition dogs, learning alongside us, laughing at the everyday craziness and sharing our posts with other dog people.

Whether you’ve been here for years or just found us recently, we’re grateful you’re here.

Best Retrievers has always been about more than training dogs. It’s about the people and relationships that come along with them, and having 20,000 of you in our little corner of the dog world is pretty darn special.

From our entire BR crew, thank you for being part of our pack. ❤️🐾

Here’s to a whole lot more dogs, stories and memories together!

There’s something about the end of a long day. 🌅

The work is done, the kennels are quiet, the dogs are settled in for the evening, and the whole property seems to slow down as the sun starts to set.

Not a bad way to end the day at Best Retrievers. 🧡🐾
