Meet BH Charmin Bellis or "Poundcake" as we affectionately call her. She is a 2023 AQHA registered Palomino filly.
We started Poundcake under saddle August 30. She's currently 60 days under saddle and is paid up here until the end of November. The YouTube video is long but shows everything we have done with her from riding outside to up & down transitions in the arena. Her lead depart is coming and we've started her turn around. She has a good stop and backs up. Watch to the end to see her track and rope the dummy.
She measures 14H and will mature around 14.2. Poundcake is an easy keeper, she's stout with good bone and hard well made feet.
She'll make a super cute ranch versatility show pony and an all around rider.
Her owner is purchasing a finished head horse so needs to rehome Cake.

We've been busy with the two year old fillies this week. These three girls couldn't be more different from each other in size, breeding, character and physical abilities. We work hard to adjust our training program to help every horse be the best they can be.
"The best preparation for tomorrow is being the best you can be today." Have a great weekend everybody.

The rain came so we were forced inside.
We couldn't be happier with how this filly found her way around the pen on only her 4th ride.

Sami & I attended the Fisher Farms Too sale up in Corsica SD this week. We ran into Lucia Lohtak, one of my cowgirl heros and brought home these handsome boys. More to come after we all recover from this epic trip.

Congratulations to Caro Sieg for purchasing Yeah Im Deluxe aka WILLIAM from the Alden family. STC was happy to assist in finding this big sweet boy a new home. And we certainly hit a home run.
Thank you Heather Louise Alden and Caro Sieg.

Starting a c**t is about more than teaching him to carry a rider. A c**t starter teaches that c**t HOW TO LEARN. A c**t starter builds a foundation that will stay with the c**t for life. No two c**ts are alike. They all learn differently and at different speeds and every one of them has something to teach us.
