Let’s talk about Fun Finals! We had 30 gifted dogs competing for finals at our Memorial Weekend Event with special 'Medals of Honor' for the individual winners of each Division, and special Rosettes for the First Place Team winners! Teams were randomly drawn up into six groups of five, but picked their own uplifting Team Names! When we realized we had mostly herding dogs or retrievers signed up for finals, we decided to throw in a Breed Braggin' Contest! (We did make some dogs honorary Herding or Retriever Breeds… Next time we need some more breeds to show up!) The Herding Breed pulled off the win this event, with each dog earning $5 off a future Splash at RJS! We had so much fun putting this on for y’all! Can’t wait till next time - we might add a catching contest! 😃
