I'm Abby and the sous-chef in our barkery. The executive chef is my mom! My mom adopted me when I was a baby and we have been pretty much inseparable since. When we first met, we learned a lot of scary information about me all at once. The doctors at Riley believed I would never talk, walk, see, or hear. My mom never gave up on me, and I have done all of these things in my own time with a lot of t

herapy and prayer. We also learned that I have autism spectrum disorder which makes my brain special. I interact with the world and others in a unique way! Somewhere along the way I became very sick, and we learned that I need a special, gluten-free diet to feel better. Did you know dogs need a special diet too?! I have spent a lot of time making gluten-free mug cakes and other creative recipes so that I can stay healthy. Now that I am 15, my mom and I would really like to prepare for my life after high school. We plan to take my love for baking special treats and caring for animals (stuffed or real) to create something sustainable and engaging! This bakery will help me continue to work on skills I need such as communication, interaction, organization, and developing relationships. I am so excited about this journey and cannot wait to make yummy treats for your furry friends!

Who needs Doggie treats ? ... We are currently a foster family as well and Markets are HARD lol ...but we still have doggie treats available as well as custom collars, tags bandanas and cute doggie toys :)

Who needs Puppy treats / toys collars or Bandanas for the doggie for Christmas...we have a few in stock treats ready for Christmas...sorry we have been quiet we have become a foster family as well so we are extra busy :)

Thank you to my staff ...A surprise state Inspection. We had ZERO NON COMPLIANCES ...I'm just gonna let the haters keep on hating and continue loving these kiddos and doing my job ...if anyone would like to see our licensing reports you can look up mine as well as any licensed daycares using the Fssa childcare finder portal ... Today we met with the Lvad team. The plan is still and will remain to be transplant BUT if his health declines faster then he could get a heart this would keep him alive and stable if need be. He definitely doesn't want the Lvad it's invasive and would change his life style quite a bit as he would pack around 12-15plus lbs of batteries at all times. He also understands there may be a time where it's his only choice. Keeping him healthy for as long as we possibly can still is our number one goal. He doesn't let any of this slow him down and to see him he looks GREAT. Unfortunately his Heart and medical records say differently. We are going to a support group this morning to meet other people who have an LVad and other people who are post transplant. We also will learn about pharmacy today and how to navigate not only his current meds but also his meds going forward. We have met the staff at Fair Haven Foundation we spent the night and what a BLESSING they are and will continue to be. Trips to Indy are just a little easier knowing we have a safe place to stay and for him knowing post transplant I have a place to rest, do laundry and grab something to eat without any worry of the financial strain those things would add. We also found out post transplant we would stay here close to the hospital in a completely free and furnished apartment until he would be able to go home and the best part Abby could come. Being a Heart patient isn't easy it's ALOT to process and the constant worry that our world could change in an instant. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us and our family. Please keep those prayers coming.

We are here in Indy and checked into our room at Fair Haven Foundation ...it's beautiful and such a huge blessing to be able to stay here. Tomorrow will be a very long day and we could absolutely use all the prayers we can get ....
