Wolf Haven's exclusive annual fundraising event, Wolves & Wine, is fast approaching and we simply could not do it without the support of our wonderful event sponsors. Today we want to give a BIG shoutout to Platinum Paw Sponsor Evergreen Veterinary Hospital for supporting the wolves and ensuring every resident receives the highest level of care throughout the year 🐺💚 Thank you!

It’s Behind the Scenes Wednesday! Recently, male American Red Wolf M2235 (Ben) had a small, benign growth from his eyelid removed by our attending veterinarian, Dr. Kristin Ripka, at Evergreen Veterinary Hospital. This procedure helped to restore his full field of vision. We are pleased to report that Ben has recovered rapidly and is doing very well.

It's going to be hot outside the next couple of days! Now is a good time to remind everyone of the symptoms of heat stroke in pets. Symptoms include panting, bright red gums, drooling, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and collapse. Also, keep in mind hot surface temperatures can burn paw pads.

If you think your pet is experiencing heat stroke, please call our office at 360-866-0323. We hope you all stay cool over these warm days to come!
