Dr. Brian Jones

Dr. Brian Jones and his wife, Sara, opened Woodlake Animal Hospital in 2010, focusing on internal medicine and surgery for small animals with an emphasis in canine reproduction.

Dr. Jones was born and raised in Plano, Texas, later moving to Edmond, Oklahoma, and graduating from Edmond Memorial High School. He earned a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2004.

Before opening his own veterinary practice, he worked at Neel Veterinary Hospital in Oklahoma City, where he honed skills in preventive medicine, emergency medicine, major medicine and surgery and became proficient in laser surgery, endoscopy, ultrasonography and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Jones is PennHIP certified, a member of the Synbiotics canine reproductive network (where he trained under Dr. Kit Kampschmidt), a member of both the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association and was part of the Society for Theriogenology.
