One day and night of light rain, and we're a mud pit once again. And this is the dry season.

We desperately need some type of fill or gravel. And drainage too.

Meet Leo. He is a 35 year old senior, who comes to us from his owner of 22 years. He's from Jupiter Farms, FL. Sadly his owner is having health issues, and can no longer care for him.

He comes to the Ranch healthy and in great shape for 35. He has been well loved and cared for his whole life.

The owner's family found us and reached out, because they wanted Leo to spend his senior years in a good place. So he is in his forever home at Ricky's Ranch.

This is why we are here. This is our reason for being a sanctuary for seniors.

Welcome home,Leo. And of course your family is welcome to visit any time they want.

Let us welcome Maxine and Julia to the Sanctuary! Both are from the bureau of land management Wild Mustang program. Maxine is a 3 y/o mare. Julia is a yearling, born in captivity.

Callie is working with Maxine (braided mane), and I (Scott) am working with Julia. Both are coming along great!
