We've got fainting babies, and they are looking for their future forever homes! They will be ready for their forever homes as weanlings on February 8th or as bottle babies for Christmas!

I just finished taking pictures this morning. Parents are on site and we have a clean, closed herd.

they can go as bottle babies (the only stipulation is it can't be both siblings as we want to let the moms keep at least one baby until weaning), or they can go as 8-10 week weanlings with a $50 deposit and balance due at pickup.

We’ve got lots of okra! Good for stewing and some for frying. Shorter are good for frying longer are better for stewing....

Next we frame the interior for a three bay system for our three breeding flocks. Trusses, roof, then exterior walls followed by the back run.

So relieved wood prices came back down so we could start this! 😅

Kale comes in many different varieties, a couple of my favorites are Red Russian Kale and Scarlet Kale for the beautiful hints of red in the stems and leaves. Not only do they give a beautiful pop of color to your salads and sandwiches, but they are loaded with additional vitamins and antioxidants.
