Our Nephew Cooper Needs Your Help
From all of us at Okeechobee Storage Solutions, we’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support for our sweet nephew, Cooper.
As Cooper nears the one-year mark of his fight with refractory T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the journey has only grown more difficult. His tiny body has endured more than most of us could imagine—endless rounds of treatment, month-long hospital stays in isolation, and a rollercoaster of hope and heartbreak. Through it all, his incredible mom (our sister-in-law) has never left his side and has become his fiercest advocate.
Just weeks ago, we were celebrating what we thought was progress—believing Cooper might be heading into remission. But this past Friday, we were devastated to learn the cancer is not only still present, but growing rapidly. The chemotherapy is no longer working. There are no remaining treatment options in the U.S.
But there is hope—a promising treatment in Rome. The cost is overwhelming: over $300,000 plus travel and medical expenses. This treatment is not covered by insurance. And because Cooper has no immune system, a private flight is his only safe option—anyone who can help with this would be a true angel.
